Down Home Diner - Philadelphia

Okay I want to give this a 2 stars but I’m giving this spot the benefit of the doubt and here’s why: I ordered from the “All day Breakfast section” at 1:30 and the food tasted terrible. Benefit of the doubt is that I haven’t tried it during breakfast hours so I’m not sure if food just tasted stale always or just at that time. However my lady order the pulled pork sandwich and pork n beans and we both gave it 2 of 5 stars. I would avoid going on a Sunday afternoon.

Came here for breakfast this week. While we were eating a mouse ran across the floor under our booth… obviously this put me off my food. The waitress who was very attentive asked if we would like to speak to the manager, we declined paid and left. Would avoid this place.

Don't even try eating here. I got the food poisoning ended up in hospital. Worst service in town. Just run away from this place.

The Meatloaf was good, but the rest of the meal was not. The House veggies were pickled, I was under the impression that they were just regular veggies, and they had a weird pink discoloration. I was able to swap those out with home fries. The Salad was insulting and appeared to be just chopped lettuce and tomatoes that you put on a burger, not worth the $2.45 extra. I think this is the last time i 'll be eating here.

Went today and had a waitress named Autumn! She was very sweet and professional. The food was good , I recommend and I will be back. I will say the biscuits and bacon could be better:
