The wait at this restaurant is usually long, but we only waited for about an hour. In my opinion, it was completely worth it. I believe it is a classic Philadelphia favorite. We shared a serving of soup dumplings and noodles, which was enough for both of us to be satisfied. I would definitely return if the wait wasn't too long! View all feedback.
What Breanna B doesn't like about Dim Sum Garden:
The chicken and broccoli dish was bland and overpriced at 18 dollars. To make matters worse, they charge an extra 2 dollars for white rice. I was very disappointed with the meal. However, the pork soup dumplings are always delicious and my favorite. They are consistently perfect and affordable. View all feedback.
This is one of our places in chinatown. the suppenknödel are excellent as the pork sauce noodles. the service is always good and even if there is often a waiting time, we would wait long to eat these delicious dishes again and again.
The Shanghai Steamed Pork Soup Dumplings were incredibly delicious, juicy, and full of flavor. The brisket in the noodles was tender and savory. While the Shrimp Pork Shao Mai was good, it wasn't my top choice.
Dim Sum Garden offers a delightful array of dumplings, both steamed and fried, as well as other Chinese dishes that are sure to please. The friendly staff ensured that our dining experience was enjoyable, even accommodating our large group with only an hour left until closing. With an average cost of $35 per person, everyone left feeling satisfied and some even pleasantly full. This is definitely a restaurant worth visiting again. Just keep in mind that they only accept cash, but there is an ATM available on site. A helpful tip is to use the menu as a checklist when ordering a variety of dumplings, as it streamlines the process for both you and your server.
We love visiting this restaurant in Chinatown regularly. The soup dumplings and pork sauce noodles are both fantastic. The service is consistently good, and despite the usual wait, we would happily wait a long time to enjoy these tasty dishes over and over again.
