Lau Kee is one of Chinatown’s best and I’m so glad they’re back open for indoor dining! We shared spring rolls, char siu (honey roasted pork), pan fried noodles, and bacon fried rice. The spring rolls were the flakiest and crunchiest ever, the char siu was tender and flavorful, and the bacon fried rice and pan fried noodles were both highly addictive. For prior visits I’d especially enjoyed the duck and beef wrapped... View all feedback.
What cpp cpp doesn't like about Chuan Kee:
I ordered the whole roasted duck with pancakes, scallions, and Beef chow fun. However, it seemed like only half of a roasted duck was served. I was very disappointed with this restaurant and would advise others to be cautious and thoroughly research before placing an order. View all feedback.
Great small place for Chinese grill! the service was fast and very friendly. we ordered about half of what was on the menu and nothing disappointed. I think the green pfeffer of my wife was much spicier than mine? be careful! but they are adventurous with this place and they will certainly be happy with the experience.
Large small restaurant in chinatown. small menu where they check out which dishes they want and how many spits. the skewer vary from vegetables to meat. most added with a dry rub. a standout was the enoki wrapped in speck. service is very friendly and attentive. cash and cards accepted.
Soouo very good. the meats are delicious. I recommend the big piece of chicken, the skin is so crispy and perfect. I was in the sky! and affordable. I can't beat it. I will come back!
Very authentic eating from Chinese perspective. outstanding experience in philadelphia!
If you are looking for a real Chinese Stewer place, this one won’t let you disappointed. And the owner of this place is so nice
