Visited often over the last couple of decades and while it has morphed from one sort or another, the food and service has always been great. Loved the seafood buffet they ran several years ago on a Sunday. Wish that would come back!! View all feedback.

We decided to dine here because it was convenient to where we were staying. We arrived early and were greeted by a charming young lady who was waitress and bar attendant. After a round of drinks we decided to order dinner. This is where my opinion of the place went downhill very quickly. Unfortunately, the meals were not as expected. Portions were quite small and the meals that were served were not of the quality you... View all feedback.
We had dinner here and the food was great. I had the king snitzel with prawns and avocado which was cooked perfectly, the toppings were outstanding. The chips were perfectly cooked and seasoned and the salad was lavishly dressed. A perfect meal, not over priced.
Went for dinner, service was pretty average, I just think some young ones arnt trained up for good customer service. Food was average, think the whiting was straight out of a box. Lovely decor but wouldn’t make an effort to go back
Had lunch twice found the service very good and the meals above average except for the seafood basket which was very ordinary .a good atmosphere near a large pool and beach .will call again
My wife and I don't have big appetites, so we took a tip from our experience here and ordered one meal to share. We visited this restaurant multiple times during our two-week stay, for both lunch and dinner. The staff, especially Jo and Emily (Emma), were excellent and attentive. They were also very accommodating in showing our COVID details. The food was delicious and we were pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. Overall, a great dining experience.
Both of us are fully vaccinated. I checked in upon arrival and displayed my vaccination proof, while my companion, an international guest, showed his digital vaccination certificate as it is not linked to Medicare. Unfortunately, he was accused of falsifying his vaccination status. Despite showing his driver's license and providing an email confirmation from the medical practice in Toowoomba where he received the vaccine, the rude, arrogant, and aggressive staff at the restaurant did not believe him. We even contacted the duty manager, but to no avail. We couldn't help but wonder if this discriminatory treatment was due to one of us being a Pacific Islander. Unsure of the reason, we decided to leave and have a pleasant experience at Novotel instead. We have since filed a complaint against the restaurant for discrimination.
