Pacific Paradise Bowls Club

This was the best little club on the Sunny Coast what a pity the management didn't know how to run a chook raffle so many of us miss the great Friday and Saturday nights if only it could rise from the ashes sadly missed

Small clubs like this are slowly going backwards. Was good but the Tavern next door easily overtakes the club now for food value and it has suffered big time. Nice for a quiet beer but not much else

Over the last few months I have visited for the Thursday trivia numerous times and had dinner. Food is below average and priced accordingly. Most of the staff are surly, unfriendly and make errors with our order/food more times than is acceptable or normal. The bar staff prioritize the "bar flies" over customers already waiting for service!! I can only surmise that the committee that manages this club want it to close and/or they are draconian as most of the staff have very little concept of the term customer service. The amount of people visiting appears to be dropping over the last few months. They have a couple of lovely, bubbly and friendly staff; Jaydene who runs the trivia is a joy. The new format for the trivia is poor and obviously the club is trying to cut costs. Unlikely I'll be back anytime soon whilst this rubbish format remains as the trivia was the main reason to patron this establishment!!

Previously with the former caterers, the service was poor and the food not the same quality as it used to be. The former caterers are now gone and I am pleased to say that it is back to the standard that we like.

We visit the bowls club regularly, never had a bad meal. Prices are good and the menu changes all the time. Service is excellent, staff are friendly and helpful. Great to watch the bowlers in action too. Support your local......
