Saucy's Sit-down .b.q. - Petersburg

This Place is so delicious!! We came in last saturday and had to come back. I got the Half chicken again and it always is so perfect hot and fresh. I can hear the angels sing every time! and not to mention I lifted up the wing and there is seasoning in every crevice . They do not miss! It tastes so good I could almost cry. It's always hard for me to choose my sides because they are all soo good. He gets the Saucy Sampler and always mentions how much of a good deal it is. Service was amazing she remembered us from last time which was unexpected but appreciated. 2 Down East Ciders and dessert and I sleep like a baby the rest of the night.

Nice atmosphere. Clean. Very good friendly service. The food was good. I had the pork sandwich. The meat was good, but I didn’t care for the sauce. It was a tomato base sauce with not much flavor. I learned after dining that they do have a vinegar sauce available . None of the sauces are out on the table. The meat is served with sauce on it. I would probably rate 5 stars if the sauce was better.They appeared to have a selection of nice beers on tap. The sides were good.

I had the half bbq chicken. Chicken was cooked perfectly! Moist and very flavorful. And the dipping bbq sauce was delicious as well 10/10 for

Food and atmosphere is decent. Service was nasty. Attitude. They service African Americans only because they have to…. My food fell in the cooler. She grabbed the bag and plopped it back on counter. No apology or anything. Never going back.
