Heard about the restaurant from a fiend so we thought we would give it a try . Food was great ! It’s a great menu with lots of choices,I like it better than the buffet style. Service is fast and food is hot ! We...will be back for sure! View all feedback.
What Brennon Kutch doesn't like about Golden Wheel Chinese Food:
My husband and I used to always hit here on a Friday for lunch. Sorry Golden Wheel, the last time we were in was last July 2019. After eating, the next day, both my husband and I were feeling ill. We gave it another try...this past Sunday Jan 5, 2020. Sorry, again we were both sick on Monday. The lemon chicken batter was hard and very crunchy. My husbands General Tao was hot enough, but he said the chicken was dry. View all feedback.
Love the chicken wings hereThis Chinese joint is owned and operated by a lovely family.
The best and the freshest Chinese cuisine in the Kawartha's might I add the most reasonably priced, decor not the greatest but it is definitely worth trying
The best americanized chinese food at the most incredible price huge portions - dinner for 4 under 50 bucks - enough for dinner AND lunch the next day for all four people! Two full bags of food went home after we all ate lotsYou would NEVER go into this place just looking at this but whoa amazing value and really really really good! Remember though - its americanized chinese so you have to like that style...I normally am so so on it but this was GOOD!
This restaurant service Canadian Chinese food. The portions were good-sized, hot, and very good. Service was efficient and very friendly, and the prices were good. Would go back and highly recommend it for the whole family.
We were on our way to Buckhorn Lake and were famished! It was mid afternoon and by the time we decided to stop we had passed all of the restaurant going north on the 115. Finally in the distance we see a restaurant and pull over. We all looked at eachother - "A Chinese restaurant in the middle of no where?!?" In we went. Restaurant is dated but very clean. Service was wonderful and friendly, we were made to feel very welcome. We ordered hot and sour soup, egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken balls (not my choice by the way) and beef with broccoli. The food was EXCELLENT! We are now making that our lunch destination when travelling up north. Do not hesitate to give this place a try - the local have it good! I do believe they have a weekend brunch.
