I thoroughly love that this store focuses only on sweet and savory pies. I enjoyed their cherry hand pie at the site and took home a day old coconut pie. Cherry pie: filling was not too sweet and tasted of fresh cherries.. most fillings can be smothered in glaze and overly sweet syrup .. not this version! My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant in Petaluma during our trip and we were very disappointed. Despite pies being their main specialty, they failed to impress us. When we asked if they could warm up the fruit pie, we were told no. We ended up ordering the coconut cream pie, but it was absolutely terrible. It had a bad texture and lacked any flavor. Who celebrated Pi Day on March 14th?3.1415926535...It was quick to order the day before and fortunately there was a break in weather so there wasn't a downpour when it was time to pickup those delicious small pies! The staff were friendly and their display cases were stocked with lots of other pie flavors too like The Elvis, Banana Cream, more Lemon and more pumpkin. So glad I pre-ordered!Thank you Petaluma Pie Company for the yummy treats to help us celebrate Pi Day (and Einstein's bday too)!
Amazing spot to pick up some sweet and savory pies. They even offer local delivery! The chocolate cream is my favorite. Service if always fast and friendly.
So disappointed. Got some mini pies to share for a recent family visit. Won't be going back here again. Mini pumpkin maple pie awful did not taste like pumpkin tasted vegetal but not pumpkin was not edible. Lemon pie best of what we had but not amazing just par for the course not memorable.Apple pie hard and dry was like a hockey puck we threw it out . Never going here again
Aside from the delicious, sweet and savory pies, the people at the Petaluma Pie Company are absolute angels who went out of their way to help me surprise my Aunt for her birthday. The customer service is beyond compare. I live in Seattle and only get to eat their pies when I’m visiting I really wish they would open a Seattle Pie Company so I could eat their pies everyday!
I honestly loved this cute, quaint little pie company in the little courtyard with an open grassy area with a handful of tables and seating area outside. So cute and cozy! I didn't want a whole pie, and the small pies looked as if someone could eat one, if they were really hungry, but sadly, they were out of hand pies, which seemed perfect for me. Lol, everything was so cute and quaint in this little shop. I can't wait to come back, hopefully earlier in the morning so I can get a better assortment! When I visited the Petaluma pie company, it was towards the end of the day. I will definitely be back for a handful of hand pies!
