Tasty vegan food! It was our first time here and we made a reservation for dinner. We ordered the set meal which was delicious and value for money. The spicy Red Sea soup was amazing! Hard to find such flavourful spicy soup that doesn’t use any meat. Edamame fried rice was good too. Their range of sushi was all tasty. Inari sushi tasted fresh. RM25/pax with set and free flow green tea! Pls like my review if you found... View all feedback.
What 1Rathimalar V 1 year ago on Google doesn't like about Sushi Kitchen Kota Damansara:
Been here before and we were very happy with the staffs but this time not satisfied at all. The guy staff was very friendly with chinese customers only. Even when he took order his voice wasn’t as happy as he was with chinese customers only. I don’t know why it happens here in Malaysia but I think business owners should train their staffs to be very friendly. It’s very heartbreaking to eat when you don’t get the resp... Read a lot about this place, being a vegetarian Japanese restaurant. It might seem like a novelty at first, and I was eager to try. Getting there was quite easy, but parking can be a bit on the tough side as there is a row of parking spots in front and to the side which is a little too dark for comfort. The restaurant is located on the first floor and you have to ring the doorbell in order to gain access. Inside is cosily arranged, with a tatami seating area to the back and regular tables in front. Nothing fancy, except for the menu which is beautifully bedecked with glossy pictures. With the lights down a little low, I must say the dark coloured menu was a little hard to read. The ordered food arrived not too long after. There were hits and misses, sadly, more of the latter than the former. The tempura mushrooms were good. Juicy and sweet with just the right crunchiness. The sushi set (RM40) was not quite up to expectations. It was beautifully arranged, but I had expected more in terms of variety in tastes and textures. The spicy ramen left us trying to figure out what the soup reminded us of until someone remarked it’s got hints of Assam laksa! The potato wedges were also a let down. For that price, you are served some wedges with mayonnaise on it. The popular edamame fried rice was tasty, but lacked that little bit of richness to push it off the edge to make it really good. All in all, for about RM120, it seemed a little pricey for a vegetarian meal, but I guess novelty has its price.
Nice japanese vege food served here.. Variety of sushi menu Love the Happy Spicy Noodles here, simple and nice Food are tasty
Very happy experience with variety of vegetarian sushi dishes to choose from.....
It is truly a hidden gem for Japanese vegetarian! Starting from the menu, it has a variety of choices to choose from, all of them are very special and it makes me want to try them all! Their sushi blown us away cause they basically use very basic ingredients (based on what they write on the menu), but the combination of those ingredients taste amazing! We had the Couple Happiness Sushi where there are few types of sushi on one plate, each of them has its own unique taste. But the one that I liked the most was the Global Warming Sushi. The seaweed was deep fried, making the outer part of the sushi crispy. Next is the Miso Udon. The texture of the udon is not as Q as some other shop but the soup is sooooo addictive, and it feels just like something that we have at home. Happy spicy noodle was also one of the most recommended dishes which we then ordered. It tastes like tomyam at first, maybe because of the lemongrass and some other herbs, but it was equally addictive. Not as spicy, I think the spicy level is just nice. The noodles are yee mee, something that I didn't expect it to be at a Japanese Vegetarian restaurant, but the noodles and the soup surprisingly complements each other quite well. Overall a satisfying experience as the the shop has a relaxing atmosphere, price was reasonale, service was good and food was of course top notch. Just wondering why there were just a few tables on a Sunday night.
