The service was friendly, the food plentiful and flavorful, and, of course, there’s saké! I heard that the building used to be a church, which adds a unique charm to the place, especially with the view into the kitchen. The pasta and tempura were delicious. The staff was great as well. Came for my daughter's birthday. Space was nice but a bit plain and unimaginative. It's a former church but somehow carries a Denny's vibe. Hard to explain but it doesn't really do the most it can with the situation. Food was good. But not great. Fish was good and the sushi offerings somewhat basic. Amazing server, didn't catch her name but helpful with the Japanese whisky, also had the perfect snow nigori. I work for a sushi place out of the Destin area but when in town I cheat, lol.
