Quick friendly service. Food came out hot and delicious! I got the lasagna and my wife got the sampler. Both were amazing. She said her favorite was the manicotti (I had a bite and can definitely see why! . Also had very good garlic bread and a side salad (my wife raved about the Italian dressing . Definitely recommend if you're looking for some good Italian in the area! View all feedback.
What Chris Wymer doesn't like about Nola:
Tried to go to McGuire Steak House, 3 hour wait. Went here as an alternative and got right in. Tried to order Steak for Dinner, but the waiter said they don't have Steak. Pretty odd how a restaurant across the street has steaks but this restaurant didn't. Ended up ordering pasta. View all feedback.
Appetizers and meatballs were good but everything else s just ok. Fettuccine Alfredo was covered in oil no sauce?! The pasta had a weird freezer burnt taste. Couldn't eat it and chicken parm was pounded thin and fried pretty well but had barely any sauce.. plus had no taste and kind of rubbery.. waitress never came to check on our meal so was done by the time she came back. I give this place a c- at best. Ice tea was good not instant! Kind of a let down they don't make their own pasta!?! Old school Italian and not home made pasta that's not good.
Visited this Pensacola staple 2/13. Its been awhile. I heard they are closing soon and I had to try one last time. The food never disappoints. I had the fried mushrooms and eggplant parmasean. Cooked perfectly. Hope to get one more visit in. They are supposed to be closing in mid March.
Great dining experience! Our waitress, Kacey, was the sweetest and best server we've had in Pensacola.
As soon as this pathetic salad showed up I knew I had made a mistake by coming here. Bland, watery alfredo sauce, and chicken that was mushy and also flavorless. From the identical slices and grill marks I’m guessing it was frozen. My husbands dish was similarly bland. I don’t really care about decor, but the awful, banged up cafeteria silverware was not pleasant to use.
This is our favorite Italian restaurant in Pensacola. Meatballs with fresh sauce are a great addition to any meal. Fresh seafood and traditional Italian dishes. Consistently good food at a good price.
