I got the General Chicken and two sets of spring rolls. It was all very delicious. I wish I had gotten fried rice instead of white rice, but it was still pretty good in my opinion. I would definitely come back. View all feedback.
What Audrey Blanda doesn't like about House of Chong:
Decent food. The food tasted kind of cheap and they're isn't much special about it. You can kind of tell this restaurant is struggling to stay present, can't blame them because of the pandemic and location of the restaurant, but if you want cheap decent plentiful Chinese food, heres your spot. I got they're Kung pow chicken and my friend got the seafood special. Both very decent. Service was enough with the one serve... View all feedback.
Where is the flavor? The cashew chicken had no flavor, the sweet-and-sour chicken had a hint of flavor as if the sweet-and-sour sauce was watered down, and the chicken lo mein was very greasy. Even the fortune cookies were stale
I ordered shrimp fried rice. Tasted just like soy sauce and rice,a few onions were in it. Had lots of baby shrimp.but no flavor. Spring rolls had no filling. They were all wrapper.
When we called to order the person who took the order was very rude. When I arrived to pick it up it the person was rude again. She didn't even greet me when I said hello. Our food wasn't ready, and I believe it wasn't even started. Had to wait about 20 minutes. Got it home and every entree down to the egg rolls was terrible. Threw it all out. Will never order from there again. So disappointing.
They have the best crab lagoon, hands down. Get the cashew chicken with the sauce on the side. This place is classic Pensacola and the best Chinese pick up for 500 miles in any direction.
