This is such a “hometown favorite” that we were blessed enough to hear about from locals. The food was amazing, so fresh and reasonably priced. Our waitress was knowledgeable, always there when we needed help, had a question or needed a refill. The atmosphere was casual but fun! We’re coming back next time we’re in Pensacola! What kimberly mccoy doesn't like about Captain Joey Patti's Seafood Saloon:
The gumbo doesn't seem the same since they moved to me, and I have been several times (not bad, just not the same, imho. Maybe it's all in my head, lol. Definitely recommend the hushpuppies, fried shrimp fried mullet. It was cooked to perfection as always. View all feedback.

My recent visit to this renowned establishment was nothing short of spectacular, and the “Grill Mahi over Rice” dish I enjoyed was a true testament to their culinary expertise. Beautiful live music that enhances the atmosphere. The restaurant is cool and not humid or stale. I got the mullet and normally I don’t enjoy fish other than catfish but I would be willing to convert for this recipe. I tried my wife’s swai and it was also pleasant and delicious. Their sides were 10/10 with the cheesy grits ands parsley rice which was very light and not bland.
Michelle crazy Asian lady was an amazing server. We absolutely loved her. Food was delicious The best Gumbo we've had.
Lots of wonderful food, good service and an interesting atmosphere.
