Vegan options at chip shops can often be scarce, so it's always a pleasant surprise to find something available for those of us who choose not to consume animal products. We've tried the "fish" several times, but we have to mention that the portion size is quite small. However, the chips are consistently good! View all feedback.
Vegan options are beautiful, but could have a better choice of things. The staff is informed about cooking practices and ingredients.
We decided to visit this restaurant because we were in the mood for fish and chips, and it was the only place in the area offering vegan fish. I had seen some Google reviews mentioning issues with the portion sizes, so we opted for a large portion of chips along with the plant-based fish. When the plant-based fish arrived, I noticed it was priced at £3.80, while the menu listed it at £3.50, which was a bit disappointing. The size of the ‘fish’ was also quite small, and I felt the price was rather high for what we received. However, it was very flavorful and definitely the highlight of the meal for me; I just wish there had been more of it! The chips were tasty as well. They were a decent portion for one person, and I enjoyed them. They weren’t extraordinary, but they were good, and I would happily order them again.
