My wife and I had a wonderful dinner last night. When we arrived, they inquired about our reservation, to which we confirmed and provided our names. They already had a table prepared for us. What User doesn't like about Tack Room Restaurant And Bar:
I had a reservation yesterday at 5:30. We were seated promptly, but the service was very slow. It appeared that they were understaffed, with only 1 cook and 1 waitress. It took 2 hours to finish our meal due to the slow service. The music from the bar was so loud that it could be heard in the restaurant. Overall, it was a total disappointment. Barbara and Al Martinez owners of the tack room, for over 20 years they have done about as much as anybody that I know to support Penn Valley community. I really like going there for dinner when I can, I love the atmosphere, I always feel special when I go there, i've made friends from there that I've had for 25 years.
I had an extraordinary in this place. We enjoyed the extraordinary ambience and the meals. The staff were super amiable. I am content we finally decided to visit here.
