This restaurant offers the best food and service I have had in years. The quality of the food is amazing and the portions are generous. I have been there twice, for dinner and lunch, and both times I had a great meal without spending too much money. What User doesn't like about The Nelson Street Pub:
Decided to go out for dinner with a friend one night and thought we’d support local. Went to the nelson street pub and it wasn't very busy however we were asked if we had a reservation which we did not. The waitress we were talking to was very rude about it. We were told we can’t eat there without a reservation even tho there was maybe 4 tables of people inside. We left and went to Boston Pizza where it was way busie... View all feedback.

The meal names were clever and creative, scoring a perfect 10/10 for menu creativity. The food was delicious, especially the layered nachos which were a nice touch compared to other places that only offer plain nachos. The beef patties had a unique and tasty flavor. I will definitely return to try other items on the menu as the food was fantastic. Although we did have to wait nearly an hour for our food and the server was not very attentive, the experience was still enjoyable and I would be interested to see if this was a one-time occurrence or if they were understaffed that night.
I ordered the fish and chips with a side Caesar salad for delivery to my house. I was incredibly impressed by the delivery, presentation, and taste. The food was packed well and remained hot and fresh. It felt like I was being served in a restaurant with no spills or mess. I regret not taking pictures. This is the first local restaurant that has met all my expectations. I will definitely be visiting in person to order again. Thank you!
Give this place a 4.5/5 found online as we go through. it started with great service immediately. our bartender greeted us cordially and brought us to a beautiful table outside the kaboose. I had a caesar and she made it perfect for me. even better than the ones I made myself. 10/10. we were able to grab some simple nachos with some salsa to try on the homemade salsa it was pretty good! could use a bit more salt, but the chips were nicely seasoned so that I appreciated the salt itself. I have the wings and pommes. the wings were up. the marinade, cooking technique, to bake them first and flash them to order is awesome and makes for some really good aromas and textures crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. it would be cool to see some homemade wing sauces on the menu. fries were delicious crispy, but also more salt. I had 8/10. my friend had the red patrick with lumberjackkartoffeln. he loved everything. good aromen, beautiful heat, fresh topping, fresh bread, big chicken breast and everything was well seasoned. he gave his 9/10, but said it would have been better with a little less sauce. we give the service 10/10. Our bartender has really made the experience beautiful and stress-free today. drinks, water, eating and chips were all delivered quickly and she was super friendly and nice we will be back! thanks for everything!
Our first time in Pembroke. Worth visiting The Nelson Street Pub. A varied menu with great apps and mains. Try the trash can nachos…towered high with layers of cheese and toppings, baked in a metal cylinder. Highlight of our meal.
