We had another wonderful family celebration with a great atmosphere and delicious food! The girls received fantastic grades in school, and we decided to celebrate by coming here. Thank you once again! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about East Side Mario's Pembroke:
I’m sure they have many excellent items on their menu, but my spaghetti and meatballs were quite disappointing. The dish looked unappealing and tasted more like salsa than I expected. The meatballs were so rubbery, it felt like they had just fallen from a great height—very artificial. I couldn’t finish it. However, my wife ordered the pizza and really enjoyed it. Good food, bread and salad were great as always. Understaffed while we were there, but our server Mandy was excellent and still had everything out quickly. Fantastic free value meal with entree option! Loud when the restaurant filled up
We got seated within 5 minutes when we get there because we waited for the booth side to be cleaned up. Staffs are so nice and prompt especially Rachel, our server. Refills of drinks, and bread are so quick. Homeloaf bread are better eaten while its warm with the butter. Their ceasar salad is so good and crunchy, which I like. Garlic Parmesian Chicken Wings area must try. Spaghetti meatballs, spaghetti sauce are just in right protortion with the pasta. Meatballs are so good, looks like they are home made. Chiken Linguini is good too. Mushrooms are not cut, which I dont like but hey, that's okay! Chicken tastes so good.
Make sure to check your food when you get takeout. Got takeout and they forgot the sauce on my Spaghetti and I only found out when I got back to the hotel. When I called they said they would send another one, but all they sent me was the sauce, which I guess they expected me to pour on my now cold noodles and 4 bland cold meatballs. The sauce was also just a watery tomato sauce, so for $14, worst Spaghetti I've even had.
I have been to many other east side mario's in other cities around the country. This is by far the worst one I have been too so far. Waiting staff was great however. I had the lasagna and the portion was smaller than a saucer for a tea cup. Not coming back ever.
Eat here a lot because of the kids and the lack of restaurants in this town. The food is bland and the sauces are watered down IMO. Love the wedding soup but that because they don't make it. It's a heat and serve from Serca foods,
