Overall, the food was worth it and my family and I were satisfied with our meals. Just be prepared for longer wait times for food orders if there is only one server handling multiple parties. I would still recommend this restaurant. View all feedback.
What Angela Landers doesn't like about Lupe Tortilla Mexican:
This place is average I have had much better Mexican food ,Lil pricey for average Mexican food nothing sets them apart . The service was not good we set down took a while to get acknowledged by the server ,longer to drink drinks , a while to place order when food came out no silverware we had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come by to ask them for silverware while food is getting cold . A good server would have mad... View all feedback.
We absolutely adored the restaurant itself - from its design to its vibrant colors. The food was delicious, with a Tex-Mex twist that, while not providing an authentic Mexican experience, was still excellent nonetheless.
The fajitas were delicious. We ordered a mix of chicken, steak and bacon wrapped with rice and beef. The service was great, but we thought the price was a bit high considering the portion size of the fajita meat. However, we had a good time overall with our friends.
I hadn't been to this restaurant in a while, but I decided to give it another try and I'm happy that I did. The server was fantastic, and the margaritas and all the dishes we ordered were delicious. It was a great dining experience!
The restaurant was fairly quiet when we visited today, but we managed to avoid the dinner rush. Our server, Emily, was delightful and welcoming. The food was tasty. The queso was fantastic, and the salsa was good as well, although it should come with a spicy warning. It was quite hot. My husband and I split the flautas, which were delicious but a bit tough on the edges.
I have been a regular at this Lupe's for years, but I've noticed that prices have been increasing while portion sizes have been decreasing. Recently, my family and I went during happy hour and the only deal was $1.50 off an $11.50 margarita. The food is still tasty, but the portions are definitely smaller. I can't fully recommend it, but if you're in Pearland and looking for a decent dining option, it's worth considering.
