Pita Greek - Pearl River

My wife and I went to AquaTerra Grille last night for NYE. It was our first time dining at this establishment. When we sat down I told our server that we were out for a holiday dinner and didn 't want to rush. We put in an order for 2 drinks and an appetizer. The server encouraged us to order our entrees right away because the kitchen was getting busy. The appetizer came out before the drinks. Before we were done with our appetizer our entrees came out. I ordered a second drink that was prepared incorrectly and it was taken off the bill. Total time at the table was about an hour. On the way out the door we spoke with the owner Stacey about our experience. It turns out that our server already had brought her up to speed on the situation yet she didn 't take the time to visit our table to acknowledge and address the issues. Stacey said I hope you will come back again so I can make it right . The time to make things right was when your employee informed you about these issues. Second chance to do the right thing was when we brought the issues to your attention. We enjoyed the food and would likely eat there regularly if we were treated as a valued customer.

The food and service were absolutely top-notch, so much so, that my husband and I are coming back again tonight. And we were there yesterday afternoon for lunch. I highly recommend this place all around. 

Service was fast and friendly. Food was fresh. Chicken was bland and tasteless. Very expensive for what you get. Not recommended.

Appetizers (Brussels sprouts and octopus) were outstanding. Enterees were hit or miss. Salmon dinner, shrimp special were delicious. Chicken Souvlaki had no flavor, chicken orzo soup tasted like it was out of a can. Both Tartufo desserts ordered was full of ice crystals. Should have never been served as it was noticeable as soon as the waiter placed it on the table. Sent out a new order which was significantly better.

The AquaTerra Grille Sunday Brunch was a delicious dining-out option for an enjoyable experience. Great food selections, fresh and flavorful, relatively quiet for soft conversations with my dining party. My wife and I expect to enjoy their Sunday Brunch Buffets again.
