What Tatiana Mart doesn't like about Jalapeños Mexican Grill/passaic:
I went in to get seated and the waitress took my and told me it will be a 30min wait. I come back in 30min and they said they cant anymore because 1. Some guy said we’re closed, mind you it’s 8:55pm up and 2. The waitress told me the kitchen is busy and I wouldn’t be able to eat until an hour after. I’m not coming back to this place again. Honestly, my expectation to this place was higher than it should have been. I saw A tiktok about this place and came for my sisters birthday. We have kids so we wanted to eat there for lunch.Was not aware you get a select “brunch” menu with practically just tacos and quesadillasWe were hoping for a plate with rice/beans and steak. its not on the brunch menu.Very small place. The day we went had 4 large groups of tables.It was good, don’t get me wrong just wish we had known that before hand.
This place is a jewel hidden in downtown Passaic!! the food is fabulous!! the drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is friendly!! I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who is into Mexican food! I'm not a big fan of Mexican food but this place definitely changed my mind!! kudos to you!! ???????
Overpriced, I saw on tik Tok, so decided went, we waited for the food for more than 1 hour and there were only 2 tables with people eating, the margaritas extremely expensive, and the customer service zero

Wow wow wow! Hidden gem in Passaic. The restaurant has amazing drinks, food and service.We started off with these jumbo cocktails which was definitely the move! For appetizers we had corn, nachos and quesadillas. For entrees we had fajitas and birria tacos. And last but not least dessert. Everything was excellent and delicious.Definitely stop on by for some drinks and food!
