What User doesn't like about Tropical Hut:
The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. The food is well presented. I should have tasted the food before the order. I ordered Lechon kawali and 2 combo meals with Pancit. Beef Caldereta, chicken teriyaki, sisig and chayote. Also ordered Turon. The pancite is too soft, strong pepper taste and overcooked. Pancit spoiled the taste of the other dishes. Great food, tastes just like my childhood and a good handful of nostalgic snacks too. I was able to find ube and pan Dan flavoring here as well
Food fresh, tasty, loved pancit and crispy fried chicken.
Great food and friendly staff. Been going here for years. They cater and good deal.
I’ve been wanting to try the Tropical Hut for months. Finally stopped in today. They have a nice variety of dishes to choose from. I had a beef dish with rice and vegetables that was delicious. My friend had a chicken dish that she enjoyed. We also ordered 4 chicken empanadas to take home. Total bill was about $32.00. When leaving I asked the owner for a bag for leftovers. The owner said the bag was 50 cents. I think after spending $32.00 he could have given me a bag for free. I told him to keep the bag. Such a poor business practice ,for this reason I will not go back or recommend them.
Just finished eating here for lunch. First time, now forever fan! Selections are authentically varied with pinoy portions! They offer taste testing too. Bonus: housemade dessert/pastries. Halo halo though is only available once tropical weather;
