What Tobin Friesen doesn't like about Kouzina Greco:
the first time tried Greek eating that did not souvlaki and gyros, hubby had lamb casroles and I had bark stew with risoni pasta that has shape as rice. both taste good, meat was generous and very delicate. we like it. unfortunately we could try to eat more because we are placed outside as we did not make reservation before and the table seating was a little unpleasant View all feedback.
We loved it, felt like locals, food was delicious, hosts lovely and engaging, truly a great find in Parramatta, do go, do eat
When we lived in Sydney 18 years ago this was a favourite. Returning to visit family and friends the natural choice was here. All but one in our party had been here over the years and not one was disappointed. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted as old friends. Service was cheerful and attentive. The smell from the grill brought back instant memories and we were delighted every dish was fresh, delicious and still captured the taste and flours we remembered. The Saganaki cheese( a number of servings) was devoured almost as it hit the table. The figs, zucchini blossoms always my go to. The party of seven relived memories and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Wish we lived closer!
Dined here again and took a friend with us. As with last time, food was delicious and a plenty. Ruth remembered us from 5 months ago!
You know how it goes. An all time favourite, yet time moves on you shift away so rarely get to come back again. Always in the back of your mind is which one of your few favourite restaurants in Parramatta will still be up running… Kouzina Greco has been a favourite of ours for the past 10 15 years, though nowadays we only get to visit rarely. Alana Peter have hospitality great food enshrined in their DNA from many generations before them. I cannot tell you how joyous it was to be welcomed as if we we there just last week even though it has been years. So hospitality service 15/10 as it always has been. It was dinner for my wife I plus another couple, all food wine enthusiasts. Dips for starters all tasted authentic restaurant made loved the taramasalata so much we ordered a second round. Then saganaki cheese, zucchini flowers, figs halloumi. Lamb shoulder to die for, superb baklava cigars with sugared walnuts superb icecream. If you can’t enjoy a feed at Kouzina Greco your mouth deserves Maccas. Wheelchair access is less that perfect. Tonight we dined outside, but often, with a little assistance from Peter his crew, we have had a feed inside after getting up a 170mm step. Power chair users, bring a portable ramp. Give this place a go. On a hot Tuesday evening it was pumping. Make sure you book.
Just passing through Parramatta and came across Kouzina Greco. A very buzzy place and great atmosphere. We were made very welcome, the staff were most attentive and knowledgeable and although a little on the pricey side they food was worth it. I'll definitely be going back when in Parramatta again.
