I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The Pappardelle and Carbonara were both amazing, as well as the Choc Brownie. The Marsala Tiramisu was good, but the real standout was the Refresher Mocktail. The service was also great. Overall, the pastas met my expectations and I will definitely be returning again in the future. View all feedback.
What Marlee Kutch doesn't like about Jamie's Italian:
Visited Jamie's in Parramatta with some work colleagues. Service was good and staff were friendly but food was expensive for what you got - $42 for the two course set menu which included a board of meats and then a choice of pastas or a burger. Everyone went away full but not overly impressed View all feedback.
Wonderful winter lunchService was really friendly and the staff made us feel very welcome, also super quick.
Not sure why but we expected more from a restaurant with Jamie's name attachedhowever it's more of what you'd expect from a chain restaurant.
Finally got to eat at Jamie's (I didn't see him but I'm sure he was out the back cooking hehe) the service here was friendly and super attentive.
We went past the last weekend as a family of four, good food and very family-friendly atmosphere. The shrimp pasta is pretty nice, a bit sharp, but to my taste. The children love their children's meal .... the staff is very friendly and helpful. Maybe the only negative thing I can say is that the place is understaffed for an exhausting weekend. It took a while until the staff returns to the desorn order, not their fault because the place is full of house. Will definitely come back .....
Tried the $10 prawn linguine at Jamie's last month which was a great deal! The dish was full of garlicky king prawns, served with tomatoes, fennel and saffron topped with rocket and chili. Usually it costs $32! Hubby ordered the Truffle tagliatelle which he said was lacking in flavor. The pasta was a bit too thick too. Jamie's is licenced so I enjoyed a sparkling wine with my pasta.
