I was so excited to see ocean basket opening up on my doorstep. I love their food but normally end up at the one in canal walk, the food there is good but the setting isn't great (busy mall, overcrowded,loud)So we gave this one a try! Our first visit to Ocean Basket Plattekloof did not disappoint...our waiter, Moses,was attentive and friendly. The owner, Jacques, visited our table for a friendly chat. We each ordered a platter for one, which arrived promptly and was outstandingly delicious....We shall definitely revisit this establishment again.
Since Ocean Basket opened in Plattekloof Village we have been regular customers. Not once have we had any cause for complaint. Service prompt and extremely friendly. The ambience is good. The food has always been excellent no matter what the time of day. We will certainly continue to be regular customers in the future and very happy to recommend the local family Ocean Basket restaurant. Thanks to management and staff and keep up the good work. Had a lovely meal of hake, calamari grilled, Cajun style with chips. Arrived piping hot in the signature frying pan. Looked delicious tasted delicious! The service was friendly efficient. Will return again as we've done many times before!!!
Love the atmosphere and the layout. Special evenings are the best. Place always full and alive. Staff friendly and food great
