My parents first brought me to The Glitretind decades ago. Now I bring my kids... and I will say Stein's flagship restaurant doesn't disappoint. Brunch is our favorite and the selections from salads, meats, omelette and crepe station are superior to any other brunch buffet in Utah. What Chris doesn't like about Glitretind:
Initially the dinner started well with great appetizers and an enthusiastic sommelier. Bread, butter and the complimentary tartare was delicious. Then the wheels fell off. No more sommelier even after ordering a $300 bottle. I mean not even a check to see if the wine was acceptable, which it was. Both entrees had the protein over done. Chicken was dry and the beautiful elk tenderloin was way more medium well then med... View all feedback.
This is about the third or fourth time going to the Sunday Brunch at the Glitretind Restaurant. They have a great selection of food, everything from salad, seafood, mean omelets to say a few and a nice spread of desserts. Not only is the food wonderful and tasty but the service is excellent. Is it a little pricey, yes but my family does it as a treat every now and then and I would recommend giving it a try.
Pretzel was small and disappointing. Cheeseburger was great! Vegetarian options: Salads available. Soups as well.

So much so that I trusted The Glitertind to host my parents 50th Anniversary Party. There are a lot of places in Park City to get good food, however there are not many places that serve perfection. The Glitretind is perfect.
We had a lovely anniversary dinner on our last night at Stein Eriksen Lodge. Service was attentive, the wine list was the most extensive and impressive! We settled on a bottle of Sancerre that did not disappoint. We enjoyed oysters, lobster pot pie, squash and apple greens salad, Maine scallops and the iberico pork chop. All delicious! I cannot go without raving about the sourdough bread! The most amazing bread and I do not eat bread! Staff surprised us with Stein homemade chocolates for our anniversary! Very lovely evening
I thought it was a high-class restaurant, but instead it is a normal noisy family restaurant and very badly lit by horrible spotlights on the ceiling. I had dinner next to a family with children playing with the food under the table. The dishes are very ordinary and the menu is very pretentious, you can't offer duck if you don't know how to cook it. The furnishings are dark and old-fashioned, everything is clearly fake in order to recreate an atmosphere that isn't there. Fortunately the waiters are very kind and professional.
