We have enjoyed Chimayo many times and it is always a wonderful meal. The complex and layered flavors, the spicy drinks are all amazing! Service is top notch (thank you Kay! . No visit to Park City is complete without a visit to this wonderful new-Mexican temple of food! View all feedback.
What Eugenia Chapman doesn't like about Chimayo:
Very basic Mexican food for an obnoxious price. Maybe I’m spoiled coming from NYC, but this place cost like one of the top places here and the food was very mediocre. View all feedback.
The food was delicious. Plan at least $50 per record, as expected for Main Street in Park City. I went with her recommended dish of the duck (educated) and it was delicious. The interior of the restaurant was unique, but the bathrooms could take some attention.
Such an amazing experience! The food and the atmosphere were great. We came to dinner with a big group and everything was good! We had a number of entries like Guacamole, Queso etc. and also tried a few main records. The Elk and Ducks Enchiladas were perfectly cooked and fit to their award-winning house margueritas!
The dishes and drinks were excellent. The staff is very friendly. We had a little snafu with our dinner order, as we had delayed the ducks a bit to give us time to enjoy the excellent ceviche. It seems that the order was not placed. The manager made us the appetizers.
One of the best places for good food. This was one of my favorite places to find Dine in Park City. Very cozy place with delicious food and drinks. family-friendly. Baxter always serve me and we've become friends now. Service is exceptional. Fine food for a beautiful personality.
Our best meal we had in Park City during our visit. Some very eclectic menu selections (such as Trout fajitas) and an array of drinks, mostly based on tequila. Setting and atmosphere is nice and has a cool Southwestern mountain vibe. Price is definitely higher, but the portion sizes match. Definitely come hungry and ready to enjoy some well prepared Mexican style fare.
