French cuisine is like an onion with myriad layers. Casaluna celebrates Corsican (island south of France) cooking featuring deep appreciation for flavours of the sea. I recommend focus on their seafood (although their steak is fine too). You will find rare ingredients like dry-aged fish roe, daring and bold dishes of sardines and mackerels (very fishy fishes). But the clever use of fresh ingredients and herbs perfect... View all feedback.
What Laurent Marques doesn't like about A Casaluna:
The atmosphere and service are lovely, entree dish (fried squid) also good, but the main plat, veal stowed with olives and fried seabeam are both over cooked and a bit disappointing for the price (already have got 40% off with the Fork). View all feedback.
Everything was great, but that dessert was a light farewell, not the price also worth a discount and was not so advertised, but the dinner, ambiente and evening was beautiful!
This is a little gem in Palais Royal area, located in the former stables, this family restaurant offers tasty and revisited food from Corsica. Amazing from start to finish !
It was such a very special experience. The brothers keep the restaurant going with fine very creative choices of food. The desserts are a supreme delight!!! Wine list was great. A truly pleasurable experience!!!
We especially like the steak and the two desserts (chestnut mousse is very unique) we tried here. Excellent and attentive service. Enjoyable and relaxingly calm ambience.
The food had good presentation but taste was mediocre. We had appetizers and grilled Seanad
