However....having lived for years in Japan, there is NO WAY thi... read more Like other reviewers, the atmosphere is charming and lovely. The price/value ratio is excellent. However....having lived for years in Japan, there is NO WAY this is short grain rice - it just doesn't stick together like it should - maybe the sushi is made using short grain rice, but the other dishes do not. That, for a Japanese restaurant, is a serious flaw. I wouldn't go back again for that reason alone.

After spending a lot of time trying to find a nearby Japanese restaurant in Paris on Trip Advisor we gave up, and ended up just wandering down to Montparnasse. Yakitori was terrific! A great place for sushi and yakitori. The service was excellent and all the staff were lovely. Highly recommended.

Food is great and service is really good. It is really rare in Paris to find smiling and helpful faces; plus the menu is in english.
