VANTRE is a word game about the fact that this place is the 'old of wine'. Indeed, the wine map is almost close to an encyclopaedia. But personally I went more for the kitchen side. The menu changes every day, and is cooked home with fresh and quality products. What J from Paris doesn't like about Vantre:
On the plus side : Good and original food short but careful wine selection On the down side: terrible ventilation problem (we had to cut our dinner short because of the kitchen smoke! . poor setting (no effort on decorating, noisy, badly lit and random music selection : anything but a friendly or a romantic atmosphere we had to wait ca. 45’ to get our plates (there were only 5 tables served before us To finish it all... What a disappointment ! I was looking for this visit at « Vantre ». Having heard so much about it. What a cold shower. Arrived little bit late but called twice to let them know. Arrived at 1.30. Did not feel welcome at all. Service and food was the minimum you could get. Those people forget what a bistrot is and what it is based on : humanity and generosity ! Wake up people !

Une cuisine raisonnable, des choix de vins intéressants mais beaucoup de chi chis, parfait pour ceux qui aiment, à mon avis un brin de simplicité serai de bon aloi
L'accueil est très professionnel, le menu appétissant, les assiettes sont très réussies. Le choix des vins est à la hauteur des excellents conseils du propriétaire des lieux ! Le tout dans une ambiance détendue qui n'enlève absolument rien à la magie du lieu.A faire et surtout à refaire !
Un excellent choix des vins de Marco pour accompagné de très bon mets... Laissez vous tout simplement guider A recommander aux néophytes du vins comme aux connaisseurs
