Mizmiz - Paris 11e Arrondissement

Went for dinner (2 of us) at Mizmiz with online vouchers. It was easy to find, close to metro stop and surrounded by many bars and cafés! The host is very friendly, strikes a conversation and helped us choose our dish. The Moroccan food is nice, though I couldn't finish it as it was a lot! Next time a main dish will do.

My boyfriend (who speaks no French) was delighted that our waiter spoke English and enthusiastically, at that! We had such a wonderful time chatting with him and learning more about the delicious Moroccan food that we were eating. Everything we had was really tasty and we had a lot, so the price was really good value. The space is a concert venue on certain days of the week and a restaurant on others; we went on a restaurant night. Such a memorable evening!

Je n'avais jamais eu une expérience aussi horrible dans un restaurant ! La nourriture, chère pour un couscous aussi immangeable ( et je pèse mes mots ) , l'accueil et le rapport qualité/prix étaient médiocres ! Le serveur était peu aimable et incompétent, la gérante odieuse et, j'ai gardé le meilleur pour la fin, ils ont essayé de nous arnaquer ! Il a fallu se battre pendant 15 minutes pour qu'ils nous fassent payer le prix annoncé, ce qui était vraiment le comble vu la prestation générale de la soirée !

Je suis rentré par hasard la premiere fois depuis j'y vais tous les weekends en connaissance de cause, et pour cause.. concert, DJ set, couscous et saffa de poulet préparé en cuisine par la mere du patron, toujours beaucoup d'ambiance et un personel plus que charmant! je recommande 1000 fois!!!
