Staff, food and wine w... read more Lovely cafe in the heart of Paris. Was just looking for a nice place to eat off the cuff one night. Found this place just near our hotel. Staff, food and wine were great with very reasonable pricing. Always a good sign in a tourist city was there was more locals than touristsike us.

We had a table of nine people and ordered entrees and mains. When it arrived everything was cold. The Octopus was inedible. As a result we left hungry and disappointed. Would not recommend.

We all enjoyed our meal: the food was good, well presented with an imaginative use of ingredients: the atmosphere was lively, without being overwhelming and the service was extremely good both efficient and friendly. Very reasonably priced, too.

The fish was tasteless and boring, the lamb okay at best. The pavlova included canned apricots with peels, the marenque was rock hard and underneath was some kind of liquid.
