very good reception with aperitif offered, admissions a little disappointing because warmed, succulent shrimp korma, report quality price very interesting with the reduction of a booking site. View all feedback.
What Pierre Riou doesn't like about Aanchal:
dusty decor, and kitchen without interest. no small sauces at the beginning of meals as traditionally (green sauce with mint, chutney). nans of the size of a blinis (I don't joke) at the strong price, a tikka chicken massagealah too soft (sugar in?), a small rice dish that I thought individual turned out to be shared for two. and to finish the whole, an addition of 50 euros for two people without entry, without desse... Friendly reception, waiter speaks bad French and English. You have the menu designate what wanted..Appetizers were good Samosa and onion bhajee. Had a vindaloo lamb curry tastes good but was not spicy like a vindaloo should be, the Tandoori chicken was slightly better,
We started out walking into a hip, trendy place on the Rue de l'ouest. It was a friday night and it was crowded but we managed to get a seat. But it was so crowded and noisy that we just said, no thanks not tonight....More
Good, correct restaurant, my chicken coconut sauce, pecan nuts was well melted...the portion was correct (unlike what I was able to read on another comment), the garlic nan made a good 20 cm in diameter and I couldn't finish my basmati rice...The frame: small room making pretty old. You have to love Indian music broadcast in a loop. I still think it must be possible to find better on Paris. No luck to me, it did not accept the blue card (terminal not arrived), which forced me to go to the distributor
Lunch one noon. quality of the correct foods and ratio quality price ok with the reduction the range. friendly and attentive welcome.
Dusty decor, and kitchen without interest. no small sauces at the beginning of meals as traditionally (green sauce with mint, chutney). nans of the size of a blinis (I don't joke) at the strong price, a tikka chicken massagealah too soft (sugar in?), a small rice dish that I thought individual turned out to be shared for two. and to finish the whole, an addition of 50 euros for two people without entry, without dessert, and with a small piece of untouchable red. I rarely write my opinion on the web, but I can't help myself. a avoid at all costs, except if you want to dine without anyone around you, that food is of no importance, and that you have money to waste.
