Half empty restaurant turned us away as they claimed having no reservations means they are full. Terrace with only one table occupied out of more than 20 could have accomodated us. The waiter confirmed the indoor tables are below 30% capacity due to covid but somehow also pointed out the kitchen couldn’t handle the cooking for both terrace and indoor customers. Outstanding. Highly recommend. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The brown butter, seasonal peppers, and chicken breast were cooked perfectly, not dry at all. The mashed potatoes with chives were delicious. Kudos to the Chef. The tiny chicken cracklings were a delightful surprise, like a birthday treat. The service was impeccable, both friendly and professional. Even the baguette with butter we received as a starter was excellent, despite the staff preparing for a wedding. We were thoroughly impressed with the few items on the menu, all done exceptionally well. This place sets a high standard for how a restaurant should be run. The lemonade was also perfect.
I cannot find the words to truly capture the art on my plate - the flavors, depth, and quality of each ingredient were exceptional. This dining experience was truly unforgettable. Thank you.
This restaurant, housed in a beautiful modern and minimalist building, offers a delightful and fresh cuisine. It is located in the oldest abbey in Hungary, making it a truly unique dining experience.
We arrived with high expectations and left with disappointment. Starters of duck liver pate were a bit too sour (were thinking about being rotten , the mushroom carpaccio was overcrowded with greenery from the garden and not complex enough. Main courses are too small compared to their prices. 5k for a main means it should have some extra in it, but this unfortunately is just average quality in comparison to similarly highly recommended top restaurants. (Note, a guy besides our table ordered a second main dish after being shocked by the size! Chicken breasts with sweet potato gratin and creme were not matching at all. Dessert was ok, but again, embarrassingly small. Waiters were undereducated in high quality service, not ironed at all,three different clothes on three different waiters. A slightly below average food, below average service, well above average price. Please improve, because this is not enough at such a beautiful world heritage place of you want to signal good news to both foreigner and domestic tourists.

All in all I think they are lazy and don’t want to have happy customers, they would prefer to work less which is equal to bad customer service in my book, hence the 1 star. 1000 huf parking is too much for being turned away a meal by rude and impolite staff.
