Was so happy to find out going into today that they have Dairy Free ice cream flavors I actually want like peanut butter, chocolate, and mint chip! It's so hard to find options for my allergy and this spot made my day. View all feedback.
What Danielle Bloome doesn't like about Frosty Oasis:
The kid behind the counter was very nice. But the prices were insane he served me a very small scoop in an actual lid. I’m not even joking. For $5.35 The ice cream was rock hard and crumbly. The worst was a sign by the register that said “ help us feed our family “ with a bunch of sad faces. Poor look for the business owners. Because do you not pay the employees enough ? Legit, best ice cream I’ve ever had the gator trail was amazing and my daughter absolutely loved the rainbow!!!!!!!!! The server was amazing as well everything my daughter wanted to try or was curious about. She grabbed a little spoon and gave her a little taste. She was amazing. !!

Kinda a weird way to guilt trip someone into tipping. The decor was meh. Definitely miss the friendly atmosphere of Alice scoopers.

I'm disappointed that this place was taken over. Today I came for the first time with the new ownership and received two small scoops of ice cream in a mini waffle cone costing $7.48!!The ice cream tastes good, but this amount for that price is ridiculous. This is the last time we will be visiting.
This place...let me tell you. I kept joking around all vacation about Alice Scoopers because I thought the name was funny. It was on my list of places to try, which is why I kept saying it. My boyfriend got so upset we finally had to go to get me to shut up about it.Even if you have to drive out of the way, you should still find the time to visit this place. The wide variety of flavors and the adult ice cream made me tempted to try more than one. But I had a feeling Sea and Sand was the one. I don 't know if I can fully relate to you how life changing the Sea and Sand flavor is. I fully believe it is the best ice cream I have ever had in my life. Just the base ice cream was so full of flavor and nuanced that the additions just compounded the complexity and richness. My boyfriend got the oreo themed ice cream and it was ok but I wish we had a shop in Minnesota that had an ice cream like Sea and Sand. Holy cow. I can 't even. If you like butter pecan, or macadamia nut cookies, or even butter brickle, this ice cream is going to be right up your alley. The portions were also great with 3 scoops in a free waffle cone (if desired) for $6. I would have gladly paid even more if they had included a few more chunks of macadamia nut cookie. It seemed a little light on it, but I was glad to taste just how good the base ice cream was. Also in response to a previous review that someone left about the new owner only selling non-homemade ice cream? Whaaaat? I have no idea what they 're talking about, because it 's obviously home made. The fresh taste alone tells you so.I truly hope Alice Scooper 's is still in the Bradenton area when we decide to venture back to Florida in the next few years.
