Tuesday evening very busy... I think my waitress was new as I had to ask for chips. She tried to deliver drinks to two tables...she dropped the tray. I was about done with my meal, and I asked about chips ... got them as I was ready to leave. Will give her benefit as it may have been her first nite.
One of my favorite local restaurants. The food has authentic flavor and is plentiful and delicious. I have never had a mediocre plate here. And, the prices are so reasonable. Just love, love Alvarez. The servers are also terrific.
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic. We had good service during our visit. I will definitely return, as the restaurant offers authentic Mexican cuisine rather than Tex-Mex.
