Best campsite in Alaska! Desi is an amazing person leading a large campsite! She's always so happy and kind to our whole family. We'll miss it here. Thank you for having us!
Nice storage. A few days. Funny owner with crazy characters everywhere. Super clean, even the shower. Just the reason his not a 5 is too close to the Hwy.
Most friendly staff ever. Our side had a magnificent view of the lake. We enjoyed our time and all the amenities. Also clean with washing and shower facilities. We definitely come back! Very recommended!
My family and I were so excited to come here and the staff seemed nice and friendly. When we arrived at our campsite, my 9-year-old son took a Paraphernalia pipe and said, “Mother what is that?” I grabbed it and talked to my sister about it, which also has 3 children under 4. I decided to go to the office and drop the pipe and basically only told them: "You could let your employees check your warehouses better before other FAMILIES check-in. This crazy woman drove her golf down shortly and told me a 30-year-old woman to respect her elders and that I was out of the line to get on her so!!! Then told me she finds needles and drugs all the time. Her words were: “You don’t go to school? “ all this before OUR KINDER!!!! respectfully furnished!!!
I've stayed here twice. It's a nice campground with full hookups available, but the spaces are fairly cramped and it doesn't have the niceties like walking/biking paths, play area for the kids, etc. That said, it's a great pitstop on the way back to Fairbanks!
