My sister and I went here for the first time. It's quite small inside. You'd do good making a reservation in order to get a table. We sat at the bar. The Ambiance was nice, they had live music which was great. The food was delicious. The only thing I could say was we bought a bottle of Stella Rosa for $18 when it cost about $6 cheaper at the grocery store. View all feedback.
What Olin Funk doesn't like about Baracoa Cuban Restaurant:
I was very excited to come to this restaurant because I am Latina and I know my food... It is a very beautiful place and the service was also beautiful... but the food was very BAD. The frits taste literally as if we were with old burned oils, the sandwiches very dry and also the plantains burned... personally don't come back. I was very sad. View all feedback.
I recently visited this restaurant to try Cuban cuisine and it was so good that I came back the next day! I was almost ready to give them 5 stars, but I deducted a star because they forgot to include additional items such as chimichurri sauce and another drink. Also, the air conditioning is set quite high, so make sure to bring a sweater!
This place is a hidden gem. My parents have been talking about this place for months. I visited and wanted to see what the hype was about. It was not disappointed, the food had so much taste and everything was amazingly presented. The service was great from greeting to our waitress. It was Saturday night, so they had a band that was a great entertainment for the night. It is a little small, but the service and food makes up the lack of size. Now I know why my parents ran over this place.
The food at this restaurant is excellent! The ambiance matches the quality of the food. I am not a local, but if you are in the area, you should definitely give this place a try. The espresso was delicious, and the dishes were tasty, fresh, and well-prepared. They could have used a little less salt, but overall the food was still good. I went during a busy time, so I'm not sure how they handle rushes. I wish they had a lunch menu because without one, a sandwich can be quite expensive. A whole sandwich costs over $20 and a half sandwich is $15.
