So to start off I was actually heading next door and me and my wife saw this spot they had just opened up and saw the menu and decided to give them a try, from the moment we walked in the ambience and customer service was amazing!, the server whose name was Luis did a spectacular job by recommending our drinks and food. What Juan A doesn't like about Antigua Kitchen Bar:
Good service, food needs more taste. There's definitely a lot more places to go in downtown better than this. Also service charge automatically ?? Like why are we paying your servers wages That is your job!! ... this is why no tip was left! $70 service charge?! No thanks View all feedback.
Found a hair half thru one of our main dish and eating was taken back. no possibility that will be given to us to reorder. they gave us a dessert to share for free, but was charged for the court until we had to ask and then removed them from the bill. Fyi...18% service fee will apply to 6 or more people as long as they sit on the table, even if it is a small child (we had a 3 year old). it was too bad that they treated the hair problem accordingly, because eating otherwise was good
Our first time in antigua, but definitiw not the last! this restaurant was FAN-TAS-TIC! the kitchen and the variety of the selection were amazing; the wine and the champagne were not only inexpensive, but very tasty and the service was impeccable! our server alex was charming, knowledgeable and super-attentative! we're sick.
Alex, our waiter was excellent. from the beginning to the end of our evening he offered suggestions for wine and food choices and the 3 of us were not disappointed. it is by far the best eating I had in palm feathers since I moved here in 1998. I can't expect to go back. excellent.
While this restaurant has fettuccine and pizza on the menu it is far from Italian Cuisine. Temptations playing at full volume in the background was odd. That, mixed with the Spanish artwork on the walls made us wonder what type of restaurant it really was.
The food was amazing and the employees were even better. Can’t wait to go back!
