The food was tasty overall, but the General Tso's chicken was a bit dry and the fried rice appeared to have frozen veggies that were not fully cooked. What Joshuah O'Conner doesn't like about China King:
We had 2 takeout visits last 2 week my wife got chicken fried rice once said it was just ok. #1 visits I got Generals Tos Chicken, breading on chicken was fried so hard it was like rocks. 2nd visit was Lo Me, .it was not that good View all feedback.
I only wanted a quick lunch with a dish of roasted rice, but it was not good. I do not recommend this place.
I love the sweet and tangy flavors at this restaurant. If you enjoy eggs, the house special egg foo young is a must-try and really delicious.
I tried the sweet bread. It was okay, but lacked sweetness and the flavor was average.
The sweet and sour chicken was delicious! The peppers and onions were great, the menu was excellent, and the crab meat rangoon was fabulous! Everything was hot and there was plenty of food.
The Chinese food at this restaurant is excellent. The prices are fair and the food is securely packaged in plastic containers. The portions are generous with plenty of meat, rather than vegetables. The General Tso's Chicken had large pieces of chicken that were not overly breaded, and the Shrimp with Mixed Vegetables had numerous large shrimp that were perfectly cooked. I will definitely order from this restaurant again and try some of their other dishes.
