outside was ideal. they have heating for a cooler evening like us. my wife had the one with the soup that was well prepared. the Swedish meatballs were as expected (good prepared) and served with double impact potatoes. this was our first visit and we will come back when we visit the next one in the opposite. What User doesn't like about Waxin's:
The food is excellent, but completely overpriced. We were not too happy with our server. He seemed to be pushy to get orders in, took away half empty glases. It was not the service you would expect in a restaurant like this. It should have been a special night for us, but it was well below expectations View all feedback.
Patio was beautiful and beautiful. Service was great. Unfortunately, the food was not good.. even a little. Under seasoned, fillet mignon cooked to make good when ordered medium rare, Ikea meatballs can actually be better. Definitely a place to see and enjoy a cocktail not for food.
Oscar was our attentive waiter. He was able to make excellent recommendation for dinner as well as wine while being quite attentive yet not overbearing. The food was outstanding. We really had a lovely evening.
Here traveling from Nebraska-absolutely fabulous meal and Oscar was a great waiter!!
First time at Waxin's. Very lovely interior, we were seated in a smaller dining room and the noise level was manageable. Food was decent to excellent (men had great burgers) and our cod was good. Service was fine. Was much better than I anticipated.
My first time there and I thought everything was great! Food. Service. Atmosphere.
