Buccan's already the most revered restaurant in Palm Beach, so you could only expect the quality of their asian spin-off! It's a 10/10 experience and perfect for date night w it's omakase style intimate setting at the bar too! View all feedback.
What EllenT doesn't like about Imoto At Buccan:
The place is very pretty and Brianna the bartender was great but the drinks came to 25.00 each. The food was fresh and appealing but it was nothing very special. We've had much better. View all feedback.
And always outstanding experience. The freshest fish in Palm Beach County. Very innovative cuisine.
The food and service were excellent especially the service!
This is our second time visiting Imoto. On both occasions we received excellent food and service from Désirée and the team. This is now a regular destination for us.
We had dinner at Imoto last night. We arrived a bit early and our table was not quite ready so we accepted seats at the sushi bar. This was a great idea that I would highly recommend. First, watching the preparations is quite interesting. Second, the noise level in the sushi bar is significantly less than in the restaurant proper. So, we could actually have a conversation during dinner. We started with the Edamame that was seasoned with sweet soy and sea salt. This is a preparation that I have not had before. It is very good, but a little messy. Make sure to ask for a spare napkin. We then had the Rock Shrimp Tempura with spicy aioli and Asian slaw. It was served right out of the fryer and was terrific. There was a second sauce that was served that was soy based (I think). Next came the Lettuce Wraps which had grilled chicken thigh, plum, black garlic, and cashew. It was a delightful blend of warm and savory with cold and crunchy. YUM. The finished the evening with nigiri: Toro, Yellowtail, and Snapper. Make sure to order fresh wasabi with your nigiri. It makes the world of difference. The only think that I would like is a better selection of California wines on the menu.
We had an extraordinary night out at Imoto! Not only were the sushi rolls, Hamachi Kama, and duck tacos impeccable, also their inventive cocktails were a pleasant surprise. From the moment I took the first sip of their creative concoctions, I was transported on a tasteful journey that perfectly complemented the exquisite sushi. The mixologists here are true artists, blending flavors in ways I had never imagined. The ambiance created a perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening. I can't wait to return and indulge in both their sushi creations and their masterful cocktails once again!
