we had a fantastic meal here, we came a little from the season and were the only customers except a family birthday group. we had a beautiful meal, incredible fish antipasti followed by truffle tagliatelle and ricotta filled pasta with tinted fish sauce. for pudding it was a delicious pistazija tiramisu and ricotta cannolo. very different from anything we had in the last two weeks in Sicily, but also some of the best... We stopped by on our way to Pantalica and enjoyed a perfect lunch: we shared the starter selection with meat (Degustazione prodotti della tradizione Iblea , which consists of 8 (in words, eight ! platters of delicious local specialties, both cold and warm (note that it 's 16 Euros for 2, not per person . Together with an equally enjoyable pasta dish, water and house wine we paid merely 34, Euros for both of us and had one of the best meals of our trip.

These people manage to capture all the goodness and taste of authentic everyday Sicilian recipes and upgrade it fine dining. Excellent choice of local wines. Sightly more expensive than the area average, but well worth it.
We were in the area to visit a Greco teatre and stopped in town for lunch. The welcome was so warm and friendly we felt immediately at ease with our limited Italian. The wine list was varied and the menu was explained to us in detail. Porcini mushrooms were in season and were served beautifully in a pasta dish. My husband had a pasta dish that was served on a base of cream sauce flavoured with a local cheese. It was the highlight of the meal.
