I had ordered Uber-Esser when I was allergic to drowning and eating. I had received my meal with the entrance of my allergies. I landed in a hospital in an anaphylactic shock. they had used odours in the dish. View all feedback.
By chance, there was one night on the way home, it was one of those places. it would be terrible or amazing food. it was grateful! the place is terrible, really dated and scuffy, so if they are after the ambiente, this is not the joint to go, but if they want great service and fantastic authentic noodles - this is the jump! we ordered starter really - many of them, none of us are really in main meal, but saw some coming portions were massive! overall it was great, just a bit of a landfill, but hey, if the food and the service are good, I can deal again.
Absolutely love this place!! The new owner is really friendly and very accommodating. We came in with someone who is vegan and he made sure that the food was vegan friendly : serving sizes are definitely enough to share a few dishes between a group.
Service great. Found a hair in my take away food last time. Mistakes happen so thought of ordering again tonight . And again: hair in my food! Disgusting and so disappointing. I don’t think they have any food hygiene whatsoever considering the occurences. Waste of my money twice and I will not order from them again.
One of the most beautiful Chinese meals I had ever spent many years trying many different restaurants the peking duck was perfect will defo back
'Gourmet No.1 ' is a local Chinese shop in Pakenham, we ordered the Family Pack which is $51.20 for bag of pawn crackers, 8 homemade dim sims or 8 homemade spring rolls, then 3 choices out of about 12 main dishes, along with a large special fried rice and 1.25litre bottle of drink. At first i thought $51.20 seemed expensive but when we opened the food containers the serving sizes were excellent. The meat to vegetable ratio was perfect, alot of meat which you usually dont get. We ordered the chicken and vege in curry sauce, sweet chilli chicken and beef and black bean and couldnt fault any of it. We really enjoyed it and it was well worth the $51.20!
