Wow. Went for a meal with my wife and we were not disappointed. In fact we left very happy and very full. The restaurant is nice and cosy and very clean and the staff were amazing. Very polite and very helpful. The food was amazing and very well presented. I opted for the mixed grille which came out on the largest plate I have ever seen. I have never been beaten by a meal. But even I had to admit defeat. Thankfully I was able to bring the rest home in a box. We will definitely be coming back here again soon. Thank you to all the staff who made evening a great evening.

My wife and I managed to get through a cancellation and we were not disappointed. We both had the festive Carvery, good value for money. The food was fantastic, Parsnips so delicious. I couldn't move much after dinner. Huge pudding of Rhubarb crumb and Custard, the boss had banana cakes, again a large part. Finally coffee and mint cake . Service was excellent. Overall, I would highly recommend.

Seek and you will find.... For a few tourists this is the best non-tourism cuisine in the bay. A little off the beaten track you'd drive right by if you were on the way. Good selection of hot and cold dishes, inexpensive all cooked to order with good service. My partner and I visited on a saturday evening, we were greeted promptly by friendly staff. All the staff seemed to work well as a team, the young chap who served us was friendly and prompt in taking our order. we ordered two starters, essentially a prawn cocktail and then also mushrooms and bacon in a garlic creamy sauce with bread. The prawns were bland and tasted as if they had been frozen, the bread and salad was good though. My mushroom starter was gorgeous, really tasty and well cooked. The starters only took 10 minutes to arrive which was impressive considering it was a saturday night. Our mains were a rack of ribs with chips and salad, the ribs were beautifully cooked but the sauce was very overpowering, very sweet and tangy. The chips were pretty good. The drinks we ordered came with a free refill which was ace. My main was lamb chops and mash with gravy and veg from the carvery, the veg was nice but not as hot as it could have been, the lamb and mash and gravy was exquisite and a generous portion size although you definitely paid for it at £17.99 i was happy to pay that considering how good it was and I’m hard to please!! The ladies loo was a little untidy with one of the seats hanging on crooked. A little improvement in the loos would really help the overall feel of the venue. The decor is lovely, warming, comfortable and well laid out. I would definitely visit again and try something else on the menu : Thanks to all the staff.
