Applebee's Grill Bar - Paducah

We stayed at a hotel nearby and arrived at the restaurant around 9 pm. We were seated right away, but after about 6-7 minutes of waiting, the server finally came to assist us.

The service was fine, and the kitchen did their best, but the $27 ribeye was one of the worst steaks I've ever had. It was tough and full of sinew.

I picked up my order curbside, and it was quick and easy. The staff was friendly, and the food was excellent and fresh!

We visited the hotel bar on a Friday evening at 9:30 PM for some cocktails. There were just the two of us, and despite my attempts to get the bartender's attention, we were consistently ignored. After a while, a waiter finally took our order, but the bartender still didn't make our drinks. Frustrated, we decided to leave at 10:00 PM and just gave up. The service was quite disappointing!

Our order was messed up from the start, and when my wife contacted the so-called manager, she was rude and unhelpful, acting like a complete amateur. The food was just okay; it was edible but far from good. The bourbon dish and the chicken tenders were particularly disappointing. I'm not sure if the issue lies with Applebee's or the cook, but it definitely did not meet our expectations. We won't be returning.
