Went for an off-the-cuff summer outing. We enjoyed sitting out on the picnic tables that were comfortably in the shade. There was an air conditioned eat-in dining room and also a screened outdoor eating area that looked nice. The meal was good, except the batter was very flavorless. Not a bit of salt or pepper or anything in the batter. It was fried well, but so very bland. I've never had fried seafood or onion rings... View all feedback.
What Jonny Deuteronomy doesn't like about Lost Gull Fish N' Chips:
The food is 4-5 stars but the cashiers have this incredibly annoying habit of fishing for unearned tips. When you use your card, they turn the screen around and say sometimes it asks for a signature but it never does. That is a bald-faced lie. It is a Tip Menu and they are trying to cajole tips that they did not earn from innocent customers. Sleazy behavior from smug, smirking teenagers. View all feedback.
Excellent haddock and tasty fries, and best of all, they actually had iced Moxie in the cooler! Pleasant folks and freshly prepared food.
The quality of the fried clams was far less than last year. Very disappointed!
Quick little spot for basic fair….lobster and crab rolls, fried clams, hamburgers, chicken tenders, sweet potato fries..lobster roll is good and only $22.
Fried clams and Lobster casserole or delicious. Onion rings are great too.
Food was good, service was good, the atmosphere was a little iffy and they had run out of toilet paper in a bathroom. We were visiting from Vermont and ended up here as we wanted lobster. Lobster rolls were delicious, sweet potato fries were meh (could have been more crispy, they were pretty limp) but the regular fries were delicious. The other customers weren't the most welcoming and older people kept parking on the side area which blocked other people from parking over there. Very limited parking as it is. Parking: Can maybe fit 6 to 7 cars out front, limited parking on the side street. Maybe 5 or 6 cars can fit down there.
