Burg Barrel 76th Street - Overland Park

The food and beer here tasted decent going down but horrible coming up! It was trivia night which drew a decent crowd but was pretty loud. After I ate my hamburger and drank a single beer I felt fine but later was overwhelmed with nausea and puked????. I cant help but wonder how I got sick. Not sure if the single beer was off or something I ate. The burger and beer wasnot very tasty on the way back up and I couldn’t help but think damn that cost me $32! I ordered the spicy avocado burgerwith Cajun fries and crushinator beer (it may have just crushed my stomach)! I cannot remember the last time I puked maybe 10years ago. Definitely not going back here!!

Random stop for some dinner. We were very impressed! The place is very eclectically decorated (a ceiling with hundreds of tap handles! . The food was excellent, the staff very courteous, efficient and took great care of us. Most of the fried items are hand breaded with their Flying Monkey beer batter and were very tasty. The onion rings especially! The burgers were great sized and very nicely cooked. We tried the bacon wrapped asparagus to start and asparagus is one of the 3 foods I really don't eat. They were DELICIOUS. Grilled, then wrapped with bacon and briefly deep fried. And let's not forget the chewy pretzel topped in chocolate and ice cream! PERFECT meal ender. To top it off, I mistakenly left my credit card, and 2 days later they had it and I got it back with 0 issues. Great experience and we'll definitely be back!

Eating here was excellent. we ordered the bourbon burger and the smokehouse burger. both were very good. we will definitely come back.

First time here! Nice place! Asparagus appetizer was delicious as well as the onion rings! I ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich and my husband ordered a burger (forgot which one). They were both good! We will come back!
