My wife and I had the NYE dinner buffet. Our first time at Wilfred’s and our first time in the Chateau Laurier. The whole experience was quite spectacular. It was decorated nicely for the Christmas season. The food was amazing with a variety of cold and hot foods. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. We will definitely go back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Wilfrid's Fairmont Chateau Laurier:
Went for the new year's eve buffet, $110 per person, with only 5-6 hot foods, the rest are cold salad which you can get at farm's boy, very few selections of seafood, the mussels were full of sands and rocks, the desserts were the highlight of the meal, they were ok, not spectacular by any means. The environment was nice, but definitely not worth the price. Will not go again. View all feedback.
It was my 80th Birthday and this was a perfect way to celebrate. I started with a delicious martini. I really enjoyed our Lunch/Tea. The sandwiches and sweets showed a high level of imagination. Even the location of our table for two was nice overlooking the Elgin/Rideau square. Our server, Nicole, put herself out to make our visit enjoyable. We would definitely go back enjoy another delicious lunch with tea.

Had an amazing time with the high tea. We ordered celiac safe food and they were able to accomodate very well. The food was yummy but I do wish they had abit more quantity for the celiac safe towers as the non celiac ones seemed to have a lot more. The tea options were incredible! Nicole is an amazing waitress and very knowledgeable on celiac and safe options for pregnant women. Overall was a great experience and I can’t wait to go again.
Food took nearly 45 minutes on a slow Sunday evening. Was surprised.
Write that you would like a window or a table for 2, Aldo they do give birthday cakes if asked but no singing. There is no music in the room and the off white chairs are dirty. It is a nice treat.
