Via Cibo - Ottawa

We recently had lunch at this cute place that labels itself as "Italian Street Food" and it was very, very good. There is a nice choice of salads, sandwiches, pasta, pizza & more. The Gelato bar looks amazing but we were too full from our lunch. Open for lunch and dinner, it's a casual but nice environment. The portions are generous so bring your appetite. Everything is made fresh for you and delivered to your table by the nicest staff.And they are licensed too!

It's my second time trying this place and I've enjoyed it both times. I've only ever sampled their salads as my mains but both have been delicious. I recommend adding their steak option as it's always cooked nicely and seasoned well. I've sampled there gelato which comes from Stella Luna gelato. It's tasty too and hits the right spot for a sweet craving. The staff are friendly and efficient. It can get a bit pricy for a family when compared to other fast casual but the taste is definitely there.

Nice interior - very open and airy. Semi-cafeteria style - order and pay at the counter, food delivered by a server. The place wasn't busy around noon on Saturday when we came in but the tables weren't very clean. Food looked good on a plate but tasted nothing special. Prices reasonable, service friendly.

Have been here 3 times and each time it gets better and better. The pizza dough is delicious and not heavy, the flatbread's delicious....I could go on and on. The only thing I'm disappointed in is the dessert options. No tiramisu at an Italian restaurant? Looking forward to many trips back.

Great atmosphere and even better food!! Tuscan Fries were delicious and the pizzas were soooo good! Fast, friendly service would definitely go back!
