What Rod McKenzie doesn't like about Cora Breakfast And Lunch:
I generally like Cora's better than this visit. Service was unexplainably slow. 9:00 Saturday morning, party of 10, not busy. Lots of service staff just hanging around. Had to flag our waitress to refill coffee several times. When food arrived it was lukewarm at best.Vegetarian options: Always veggie options here.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options.Egg white omelettes available.Wheelchair accessibility: The ent... New and Amy are wonderful servers, we go every Friday morning to their beautiful smiles. Thanks ladies for your fantastic service and hospitality.
It's been many years since ive eaten at Cora's, i was expect high quality food and the sweet smell of childhood breakfast. When we ordered our mango smoothie it came as a pineapple yogurt concoction with black specs on top. Our food tasted nasty and it was cold. The strawberry's where out dated, the eggs where cold and had a horrible aftertaste, the toast was soggy, dont even get me started with the waffles. Just as i thought it couldn't get any worse i found a red hair in my eggs. We left with three full plates and 3 empty stomaches. Please for you're own well being don't come here or any Cora's. As a full time food reviewer this by far my worst visit. But i will say the music (the christmas classics) takes my mind off horrendous food.
Surprised by our experience today. We waited 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order. She took orders from people who came in after us. We ordered at 12:06pm and didn't receive our brunch until 2:03pm. Only 3 of us. The toast was barely toasted and the butter pooled in the middle. The rest of the food was good as usual except for the cold sad bacon. Then we waited 15 minutes for the bill and she explained that she mixed up our bills with another customer. I don't understand how she could be surprised by the 5% tip.I've never in my life seen a waitress move so slow on a Sunday brunch. The staff on the floor's behaviour clearly showed that they didn't want to be there. The washroom floors were gross and there was good and drink spatters where we were sitting.Doubtful we will return to this location in the future.
Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at Cora’s last sunday. We go to cora’s often one of our favourite breakfast places but after the terrible service we received last weekend we won’t be back. We waited to be seated which is expected for sunday, we didn’t mind waiting finally got seated. Got coffee, ordered our food. We waited an hour for our food to come out, two people who sat beside us after us got their food before ours came out we had to ask what was going on? We never got a refill on our coffee while waiting so long for our food to come out. When we received our food, the potatoes weren’t warm, and the eggs were over hard when asked for over easy. 62$ for breakfast and we didn’t enjoy it. Will not be going back. Expect to wait a long time for food at this location, seems very unorganized
